Earvin "Magic" Johnson was born on August 14, 1959 in Lansing, a small city in the state of Michigan. He grew up on a humble family, being the sixth of ten childrens. His father worked in the factory of General Motors and later he worked as a night watchman and his mother worked in the cafeteria of a school.
