The earthquake that produced the waves was so great that waves 4m high hit the Caribbean Islands. After the disaster, the first crisis management system was setup to recover the damaged buildings and injured people.

    It was not an earthquake, but a massive landslide that generated huge waves killing 36,000 people. The eruption was the loudest noise we have ever heard in recorded history. The collapse of half of the island generated 130ft waves that landed in places from Indonesia the India, and other Southeast Asian countries.

    Magnitude of 8.1 and caused at least 160 deaths. The tsunami was so powerful at the Aleutian islands that the people there had nothing to warn anyone else in the pacific with or they were dead. The tsunami was so powerful that it hit Hawaii killing some and destroying the beaches there. If the people who were hit first in alaska were able to warn Hawaii, the people there wouldn't have been near the beach. Therefore saving some lives.

    The magnitude 9.1 earthquake generated tsunamis killed at least 20,000 people. The waves went over the sea wall that was protecting the Fukoshima nuclear reactor, flooding it and causing it to melt down. Over 200,000 people had to be evacuated from their homes and haven't returned since.
