Early Colonies Have Mixed Success

    One of the first english colonies was created in Roranoke. The colony eventually failed over the time I was made due to numerous things, one being finances.

    During this time, Nathanial Bacon marched into JAmestown and demanded that Hovernor Berkely aprrove a war aginst the Native Americans to seize their land for tobacco plantations. Upon his refusal, Bacon marched into Jamestown, took control of the House of Burgesses, and burned Jamestown to the ground. His death resulted i na sudden illness that set an end to the rebellion . All of his followers were hung.
