    -This congress was founded on the University of Chicago campus grounds
    -The main purposes of the program included social equality, gender equality, and racial equality
    -CORE was ultimately an African American civil rights movement

    -Throughout his career, he won many awards and great honors including Rookie of the Year and MVP
