With the death of George Floyd, many people took to social media to protect the way the cops handled this arrest that lead to his death. Because of social media, protection were organized all over the nation. -

Social media played a major role in the 2020 election. There was a lot of misinformation moving around through social media platforms during this election. Even after the election, there was still so much misinformation floating around. Many platforms tried to control all of the misinformation but it was hard to stop everything that was flowing around. through these platforms, many rallies for both parties were organized on social media platforms.
