    Tiktok created a LARGE distortion among all social media platforms. Prior to Tiktok people would post videos via Youtube and occasionally Instagram. However, when Tiktok came out it started a trend of videos. People all started making Toktok videos to go "viral". This has no changed social media and makes people think if they don't make videos than they aren't "cool". Platforms that were effected by Tiktok: Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter

    The DIY (Do it yourself) happened in 2019. This was the idea that you can make anything at home. People were making multiple videos of themselves recreating things. This starting the trend of video making. Platforms using this: Facebook, Twiter, Instagram, and the start of Tikktok.

    Everyone knows what Covid-19 is and if you don't, you probably live under a rock. This virus has shaken up all platforms. Platforms are used to share beliefs about Covid as well as share stories of experiences. A lot of people in the younger generation us social media as a form of education on Covid-19.     There was a moment that if you posted a black screen than you support black lives matter. This movement was the educated people about the issue of racism among the united States. However, I'm not a black photo can change society, most people felt it would. People were posting many videos and pictures of the riots and protests happening in America for black peoples rights. Platforms used: Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter.
