    Java
One of the easiest programming languages. It is simple and can be run nearly everywhere. It allows for many popular applications to run such as Minecraft or Chrome. Even the Apple iPhone has bits of Java on it. Unknown exact date.
  • Google

Google is by far the most used search engine. It is not the first, but most agree it is the best. It has several other apps in it, like YouTube and GoogleDrive, which allow collaberation and sharing with others. Google Search and all of their apps are used by me almost every half hour or more.
  • First iPod

    First iPod
I got my first iPod in 2006 when the new colored edition iPod Nano's came out. This was when I first used digital music before. I use this technology every day.
  • HDMI

    HDMI
This makes all analog connections digital. It allows for really bright colored screens and tv's, and the data transfer rate is improved. It also brings the audio and video in a single cable. I use these a lot because it reduces the amount of cables I carry and it provides a better picture.
  • YouTube

    YouTube
This was my first time watching a video on the computer that was not a DVD. It made it possible for people to share videos they make or edit and make them available to the world.
  • iPhone

    iPhone
I got my first iPhone when the iPhone 5 came out. This was the first phone with touch technology and some intuitive software. This was basically the first working smartphone.
  • iOS Release

This was the first mobile OS that actually worked well. This was created by Apple, and came out on the iPhone shortly after.
  • LTE

This invention made it possible to download apps and music in only 3 seconds. It is efficient and very new. Maximum download rate is about 300 mb/s. My first smartphone was LTE powered.
  • iPad

    iPad
This was the first tablet computer I had ever seen. My grandpa gave me his as soon as new iPad 2 came out, and I learned how to do small tweaks with the iPad, such as a jailbreak and use mobile applications for one of my first times.
  • Galaxy Tab

The Galaxy Tab 2 was my first Android based tablet. I chose to pick this specific one because it was the first tablet to operate well and have a good OS (Android) that isn't the iPad.
