    De Vaca explored Texas for land and riches.
    De Vaca heard abut the city of gold that was bigger than New Mexico and decided to explore it.
    Walked with many animals for food and his partener Esteban was there with him.

    De Vaca Explores Texas

    De Vaca arrieved close to the Mississippi river where they met an Indian tribe. This tribe was really nice to them and gave them materials to built houses and thought them how to farm.

    De Vaca Usses the Indian Tribe

    De Vaca wanted to keep exploring for the riches and gold,so he lied to the Indians by saying that if they found gold anywhere they will be rewarded with things they have never seen before.
    While the Indians where working and trying there best to look for gold they just couldnt find any.
    So De Vaca was really mad at this tribe and decided to tourcher them by cutting their hands, feet, arms, and burning them alive.

    There were many few Indian that ran away and survived.
    After what just happened ,they started to fear explorers.
    Many Indians started a new colony since there's was destroyed by De Vaca . the Indians to et revenge on De Vaca, they kidnapped his partner Esteban and made him their slave, but they were all scared tat De Vaca would find out, so they killed him.

    Moscoso returns

    Moscoso returned to the Indian Tribe and sneake into a house. There was a woman inside, but he convinced her to stop the Indians from killing them by trading some very interesting objects like jewerly. Moscoso then wants help from the Indiands, but they didnt want to help him, because they thought they were going to get used again. So all he asked was for food, by trading to continue his journey.     Moscoso and De Vaca Meet

    In 1539 thats where Moscoso lands in Texas and crashes into the Indian tribe De Vaca tourchered.
    The Indians where terrified and they had weapons ready if anyone trespassed their teritorry.
    Moscoso wasn't expecting anything, vbut as soon as he saw ans arrow shoot towards one of his men he knew that there was and Indian Tribe very close to them getting redy to kill them.
