    The magnitude of this earthquake was 7.1. The death toll of this disaster was 2,100. After the quake, aftershocks were felt in several towns in the area of the epicenter. The royal Australian air force immediaitley flew in relief supplies.

The water system was damaged and the supply of freshwater to eastern parts of the American Samoa was disrupted due to broken water lines. Also, this tsunami was generated by an unusual type of earthquake that occurs near ocean trenches.

    This natural disaster hit in September,27, 2018. The magnitude of this earthquake was 7.5. Unfortunately 832 people lost their lives. Five days after this event, bodies remained unburied on the side of the road. Survivors are still avoiding going inside building because they are scared of what the aftershock may bring.
