Saddly Nathon Hale was cuaght and was hanged by the brittish his last and famous words were "I only regret that i have one life to lose for my country '' . -
Crossing The Delaware
George Washington led his men across the ice-swollen Delaware about 9 miles north of Trenton.The water was very difficult to travel but they finally made it. The next morning George Washington and his men went to the German Hessians and cuaght them by suprise and attacked them and they surrenderd. -

The battle of Saratoga was the major turning point in the war. It lifted the spirits of the American Army. The Brittish was deafeted and ended brittish hopes. The war convinced European countries that the American Army would have a chance to win. -
