Franny finds an envelope that her her sister Jo Ellen took away and Franny wants to investigate. -
The Pit
Drew and Franny hear from Chris that a gravel pit has a tire swing on it. When they go there Franny get really hurt when she fell off. -
Uncle Otts
Franny's uncle was digging a hole in the yard to build a bomb shelter but he passes out due to dehydration. -
Chris Cavas
Franny and her brother Drew are riding there bikes when they see a house with a new boy in it but the boy was a friend that was there before. -
The Envelope
Franny and her friend Margie go looking for an envelope that Jo Ellen had but Margie takes it. -
The fight
When Franny goes into the bathroom at school she gets into a fight with Margie about the letter and they both get sent to the pricinpal office. -
JFK Speech
One of the extra homework was to watch JFK's speech that night and it did happen in real life and it was about the Cuban Missile Crisis. -
The Halloween Party
When at a Halloween party Margie embarrasses her and Chris walks home with Franny -
Help!
When Franny goes home with Chris, Margie is lost and they go and look for her. When they find her in the gravel pit they try to help but it is no use. But then uncle Otts comes and helps to bring them to up to safety. -
The End
When Franny comes home from the hospital she is grounded. When Margie walks past for trick-or-treat she give Franny a make shift sling out of what she got saved with.
