A mass meeting in Haymarket Square, Chicago that was against the police brutality and shootings that happened in the McCormick factory. Some big names like Albert Parsons, August Spies, and Samuel FIelden gave speeches. At 10:30 the police demanded the protest to be dispersed, and then an unknown person threw a dynamite bomb into the crowd. An officer was killed and many civilians were hurt.
