    David Packard and Bill's first product was the HP 200A Audio Oscillator. It helped make sound effects and Walt Disney had ordered 8 of them in order to make Fantasia with many sound effects.

    In February, the public got to look at the ENIAC (electronic numerical integrator and computer) for the first time. It was a machine that could operate at a speed of 5,000 per second. It was huge because it was the first electronic digital computer.
