    Uber was first founded in 2009 but officially launched in 2011. Uber hires independent contractors to deliver rides at variable fees depending on distance and time. Since this app launched Uber eats was created, this service provides food delivery from restaurants for similar fees. This makes the convenience to customers to not leave their homes or saving time at lunch time at work.

    Kevin Systrom first launched Instagram in 2010. Instagram in now one of the most used apps, being the 4th most downloaded app since 2010. In 2013, Facebook a similar app bought out Instagram. Instagram has many features including; downloading edited pictures and videos. This let's people around the world view different life stories and cultures.

    Siri

    Siri also known as Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface was founded by Adam Cheyer along with Dag Kittlaus. Siri is a virtual assistant in Apple products. Siri is activated by voice recognition and asists in searching the web, making phone calls, setting reminders and many more things.
  • iMessage

    iMessage

    Scott Forstall announced iMessage at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 6, 2011 held annually. IMessage would allow to send text messages using wifi and internet services. In 2016 Apple estimated about 200,000 iMessages sent per second.
  • TV Streaming

    TV Streaming

    TV streaming is not something new but in the past few years it has become a great hit. Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV and many more are monthly subscriptions with tv shows and movies. The application will soon replace Cable TV as they are way lower in price and have more variety. You are also able to watch them on your phone or stream onto a smart tv.
