During the American Revolution was when slavery was seen most because slave owners owned slaves and they used them in order for them to produce things so they can export them. ex. cotton,tobacco, sugar and more. -
Missouri compromise
On March 3, 1850 there was the Missouri Compromise which was when it divided the north and south. -

Lincoln became president and he wanted to end slavery -
North vs. South
While the North wanted freedom and South wanted slavery. They fought to see the outcome of who won. Though the South lost they still had ways of mistreating blacks; they were segregated. The North and South had many disagreements and the South believed if they waited long enough that the North will lose their will to fight. -
