  • Lexington

    700 british troops were head for Concord.Then the Minutes were lined up and then they fought all 700 troops but the minute mans did not back down and left their guns up and then they shot a bullet to the british troops.
  • Concord

    The British marched back to concord, They saw their arsenal empty, they went to walk back to boston but between 3000 and 4000 came and shot the british troops and fell together.
  • Bunker Hill

    Thomas Gage sent 2400 British troops up the bunker hill but the colonist still held their fire the smoke cleared the colonist lost 450 troops but the British lost over 1000 in the war.
  • New York

    The British seized New York with 32,000 soldiers some were German mercenaries and hired soldiers.
  • Trenton

    Washington risked a lot , he put 2400 on a boat then they marched to Trenton then defeated a garrison of Hessians in a surprise attack
  • Saratoga

    They surrounded Burgoyne in Saratoga, That was the most important thing of the war, France thought the Americans could win the war.
  • Marquis de Lafayette

    Friedrich von Steuben a captain and drill master helped train the Continental Army, and the Marquis de Lafayette and tried to provide help
  • Valley Forge

    Washington and his Continental Army desperately were low on food and supplies but they tried to stay alive in the winter camp. 2000 soldiers died.
  • Yorktown

    The troops from Lafayette and Washington moved south to Yorktown the french naval force defeated the British boats then they covered the Chesapeake then 17,000 french and Americans troops surrounded the British then Cornwallis finally surrendered.
  • Treaty of Paris

    They signed the treaty of paris and confirmed the U.S independence and set the boundaries of the new nation.
