    Instituted the idea of Predestination (God knows where you are going before you are even born). Anne Hutchinson spoke out against this ideology by telling the clergy members that if this way true there would be no piont in following any of God's commandments and that you could do what ever you wanted to in life.

    Escaping religious persecution, Pilgrims set sail and landed in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620. During the first winter 52 of the original 102 colonists died on malnutrition and disease.
