Jimmy Carter was the President from 1976 to 1980. He was from the Democratic Party. Before he was the Governor of Georgia. Some big events that occurred were Helsinki Agreement and Olympic Boycott. He passed the Social Security Act and Camp David Accords occurred in Egypt and Israel. Before he was a President he was a millionaire peanut farmer. He also went to a Naval Academy and attended segregated schools. Jimmy Carter was the first President born in hospital in 1924.
