    Cleopatra is Born
    In the year 69 BC, Cleopatra was born to her father Ptolemy XII. She did have a mother, but it is unknown to man. Some say that Ptolemy's sister gave birth to Cleopatra.   • City of Kydonia falls to Roman military forces

    The ancient city of Kydonia on the island of Crete, located in Greece was overthrown by Roman military forces in 69 BC. This city was founded by King Cydon and today is now known as Chania. The city of Kydonia then became controlled by the Romans (www.angelfire.com/super2/greece/kydonia).
  • Ptolemy XII is expelled

    Ptolemy XII, Cleopatra's father, is expelled from Egypt. Cleopatra's father was expelled by the Alexandrians themselves. The country of Egypt wanted his son and daughter to take the throne at about 58 BC(www.sjsu.edu).
  • Jumong becomes the 7th ruler of Buyeo

    In about 58 BC, Jumong of Asia came to power. He soon became the seventh ruler of Buyeo. He later escaped Buyeo and went to a different city. He got married and has kids.
  • Octavian comes to power in 30 BC

    Sometime after the death of Cleopatra, Octavian took over all of Rome. He soon decided to move to Alexandria, Egypt. There whe tried to take over control (www.historyorb.com).
  • Cleopatra and Ptolemy XIII come to power

    In 51 BC, Cleopatra and her younger brother, Ptolemy XIII, come to power at the ages of eighteen and twelve. Together they ruled for awhile until the economy started to get bad because of all the crops that were being flooded. Cleopatra finally decided that she wanted to take the throne all for herself.

    The Gallic War is when Julius Caesar first emerged to power and he was a military and politcal leader. The war was caused by people attempting to hold stability on the borders of a Roman Province. This all happened from 58-51 BC.
  • Guardians of Ptolemy XIII start a revolt against Cleopatra

    As soon as the economy started to drop and the partnership of Cleopatra and her brother weren't very well, Cleopatra decided that just her alone was good enough to rule the country Egypt. She started to only put herslef on the coins and started leaving him out of important political things. Ptolemy's guardians didn't like the idea of Cleopatra being the only ruler. They started to revolt against her. This all happened in the year 48 BC (www.biography.com).

    On Septemeber 28 in 48 BC, Pompey was assassinated at the age of 59. He was a Roman general and polition. He led his land and people to greater places (www.historyorb.com).
  • Cleopatra marries Caesar

    Cleopatra marries Caesar
    In the year 47 BC, Cleopatra showed up at Caesar's home quarters. Cleopatra bacame Caesar's mistress. Togther they went back to Egypt to destroy Ptolemy's army and succeeded. Soon after that, Caesar went back to Rome and Cleopatra was now the ruler of Egypt again (Living Boigraphies of Famous Rulers).
  • Caesar's and Cleopatra's son

    In 46 BC, Cleopatra gave birth to her first son, Ptolemy Caesar. During the birth of Caesar's child, Caesar was located in Rome at the time. When he heard about the nirth of his child, the people of Rome and Caesar himself celebrated with joy (www.biography.com)
  • Caesar becomes dictator/Him and Cleopatra move back to Egypt

    In about 44 BC, Caesar had total victory over all his enemies and got the title "dictator" politically. He saw how powerful he became to all of the countries that he had defeated. He almost called himself a god because of how much he destroyed the other countries and how powerful he became.     When the Romans were at War, they settled alonged the coast of the Netherlands. They made forts and stayed there for a while. The people who lived in the Netherlands accepted the fact that the Romans were alongside the shore.
  • Marc Antony comes to power in Rome/Meets Cleopatra again

    Marc Antony comes to power in Rome/Meets Cleopatra again
    After the assasination of Caesar, Marc Antony comes to power in Rome. Marc Antony called Cleopatra to join a battle with him at Tarsus. Cleopatra losing her Roman protection (Caesar) made her think that she needed another Roman person to protect her and her country. Marc Antony soon follwed Cleopatra back to the capital of Alexandria. As soon as Cleopatra's sister wanted to come to power, Cleopatra sent out orders to Antony to have her killed (51 BC) (www.nationalgeographic.com)
  • Marc Antony leaves Alexandria to go to Italy

    In about 40 BC, Marc Antony left Alexandria to go to Italy to try to conclude a treaty with Octavian. Marc Antony's major competitor for the rule of the Romans was Octavian. it finally became and agreement that Marc Antony was to marry Octavian's sister. Cleopatra soon gave birth to Marc Antony's twins named Helios and Cleopatra Selene (www.biography.com).

    Cleopatra's death
    In about 30 BC, Cleopatra died in the town of Alexandria, Egypt. She committed suicide with poison or was perhaps bitten by a snake.
