Cotton gin was invented to try and get rid of slaves but it accidently made slavery much worst -

The compromise was made by henry clay and made a line on slavery so no slavery moved up north and stayed in the south. -
Fugitive Slave Act
It was saying that slaves in north fit a describtion of a slave run away they could possibly be kid napped and taken back to the south even if you where born and raised in the north. -

It was a book showing how slavery really was and the treatment they really got. And how they if taken right out of parents hands how it is the be raised as a slave. -
Kansas Nebraska Act
The act was to open to land for farming and to extending to the west. The down fall was the trip over to the west. It wasnt as easy as they made it look easy and nice. -
Dred Scott
Dred Scott was a slave his life and his owner died and dres scott was shipped up north and in threoy he sould of been a free man at the point. The north made it so north wasnt really free because you cant bring your slaves up north with you. -
Election
Lincon was finally elected, And from that point on more and more events started to happen and finally the civil war broke out in a deadly battle between the U.S. its self. Between the north and the south fought for quite a long time.
