    1. The U.S Constitution was written from May to September and was signed September 17th. It was a massive turning point for the U.S as well. It officially brought the nation together. It established national government and fundamental laws also it guaranteed basic rights for citizens of the United States
  • RH 13th State

    1. Rhode Island became the 13th state which completed the union and also created the first federal government that was complete and not apt to fall apart or be taken over, It created a real stronghold for a good future
  • Judicial Review Established

    A major turning point case that established judicial review, so now American courts can strike down laws that are deemed unconstitutional within any state if decided by that state. One’s that violate the constitution
  • War of 1812

    The war of 1812 marked a final stronghold from leaving Britain, it was the final war the pushed Britain out of the United States lasted all the way until 1815 and Britain was finally gone for good out of the U.S
  • Kentucky Purchase

    Purchase of land from Kentucky consisted of land from the area of West Tennessee and southwestern Kentucky between the Tennessee and Mississippi Rivers. It was a hot debate that decided between free state or slave state.
  • Bleeding Kansas

    Border war between pro slave and anti slave, resulted in 56 deaths many of which were anti slave protesters killing pro slavery plantation owners.
  • Breaking apart from the nation

    Firstly the south succeeded from the nation prompting very high tensions between the North and South.The North considered this as treason to the union when all they wanted to do was preserve the nation. After South Carolina left the rest of the southern states left and made the country border on civil war.
