    This was the amendment that abolished slavery. The constitution actually never mentioned slaves or slavery in the amendment but, still stopped the practice of it. This amendment also mention other ¨free People´s¨ such as native americans.

    This ties directly to the 13th amendment giving all free slaves equal right´s. this includes citzenships espcially because a majority of these slaves came over seas. Thats were the term all persons born or natrualized comes from.

    This Amendment completes the triology of freedoms given to African Americans this would be the right to vote. Though no women could not vote until the 1920´s. To be more specific this constitutional law prevented descrimnation with voting.

    This Pradominilty African American school was found by Booker T. Washington in Alabama. It provided young men and women necessary skills like economic self relience. It also offered a trade school and teacher developement program.

    This was legal case that occured in the U.S supreme Court. This brought up the contraversal topic of seperate but equal. This also challenged the notion of the 14th amendment. What had occured was an act of racial segragation which technically did not break any amendments but they still thought it was unjust which it was.

W.E.B Du Bois the founder of the orginization who had concerns of the right´s of African Americans espically after the race riots in illionois.

    This was a huge step and what really defined the 20´s giving women the right to vote. It really changed everything women started acting more independent and rebellies. It was the era of the flapper girl.

    This overturned plessy v.s furguson because that saw racial segragtion as constitutional. This one of course involved the public school system and the segragation of races was not constitutional. now who was involved well it was the entire African American population v.s the entire public school system.

    after the arrest of rosa parks for not giving up her seat on a bus. MLK started a protest were for 300 plus days all african americans did not use public transportation. so for around 1 year they made no money until they finally got rid of the racial segragation on bus. Huge victory of the civil rights movement and the start of the MLK era.

    the govener of little rock arkansa still had his public school segragated. one year a group of 9 african americam students attempted to enter the school he stopped them. esienhower sent the national guard to protect and let them in.

    still in mostly the south a lot of areas like restauraunts were still segragate. One in particular in Greensboro had 4 african american students sit at a whites only lunch counter and refused to get up. as a form of protest.
