All people born or naturalized in the US are given their citizen rights and may not be taken away. Created by Andrew Johnson, it was made in best interest of how Reconstruction should be. This amendment was also was sort of a follow up to the First amendment, which allowed protection of rights from the federal and state governments.

The right to vote is protected and can not and should not be denied of American citizens. This gave voting rights to men of every color and race, but did not include women. One of the last amendments that gave more rights to men in general, and especially focused on giving more rights to blacks/former slaves.

A court case which was brought up the fundamentals of the past three amendments, and was about a man not moving to his car just for the color and race he was. Mainly was fought over about segregation. Though it did not change segregation, it did bring a new light to the subject.

A young girl and her father attempted to have her go to a white only school, only to get denied and have the father sue the school system. This was brought up to the supreme court in which, challenged the segregation laws and used the 14th as a defense. Though Brown had not destroyed segregation, it brought even more views of desegregation.

One of the most known and influential events in the civil rights moment. Rosa Parks decided to keep her seat and not move when the bus driver told her to vacate the seat. This brought a movement of similar situations which caused a backlash against segregation laws.

Probably one of the most notable moments in Cvil Rights history or even history in general, it consisted refrences from the bible and the founding fathers to enforce his case. Not only did it bring up light upon civil rights, it gave everyone in opression from segregation and Jim Crow Laws inspiration to keep fighting and wishing for a better future.

One of the final stomps on segregation, president John F. Kennedy passed the Civil Rights Act through Congress. With a 290 to 130 vote for and against it, it was signed into law in July in the next year. Basically banned segregation of any form all over the U.S between anyone of color, race, religion, and or national origin.

Another act to pass which was in favor of civil rights, it banned literacy test all around the board for voting. Not only did it rid of literacy test, but it brought a support with the civil rights act. Thus giving more rights to colored people all around the U.S.

Muslim himself, he fought for self-defence and african american liberation in any means neccesary. Since one of his favorites people to look up to was MLK after his speech, he became famous with the community.

A supreme court case to dethrone interacial marrige laws. The couple were sent to exile in Washington D.C shortly after their marriage, they asked help from Robert Kennedy to look at their case. With a defence from the 14th amendment, they broke down interacial laws around the U.S.

An end to a man's life, that left one of the most infuencial legacys in history. At the age of 39 and was sniped, this cause tremors of rioting all over the contry. The killer thought to be James Earl Ray, he was put in prision and taken out for a retrial for conspiracy.

Another righteous upbringing for each sex, this amendment banned right blocking by gender. Being the 27th amendment, Hawaii was the first state to ratify it. This brang a new growth in feminisim which was finally written in law.
