    Rights of citizenship, due process of law, and equal protection of the law. The 14th amendment has become one of the most used amendments in court to date regarding the equal protection clause.

    The United States wouldn't take into account race when it came to voting rights. The 15th amendment gave only African American men(not women) the right to vote.

    Court had ruled that segregation with any public schools had breached the 14th amendment. The significance of the court rule was that regarding race every person had an equal opportunity when it came to education.

    Civil Right protest in which Blacks refused to ride the buses in Montgomery Alabama, to protest the fact of segregated seating. This was immensely significant because buses lost around 30 to 40 thousand buses which had financially hurt the city.

    The Black Panthers stood against all brutality and were always there to stand against discrimination.The purpose of the group was to prevent any harm put on blacks from police brutality.

    The very First African American served as a supreme court justice.This is a very significant turning point in history because he was the first African American to serve as a supreme court justice, and who would act as support for his fellow race.

    A movement created for those in urban areas who faced discrimination, and police brutality that the Native Americans had faced. The major goal was the protect the right of Native Americans.
