    In this court case the supreme court came to the conclusion that the races should be separate but equal. This essentially made segregation legal.

    This organization was founded to help gain freedoms for african americans and fight injustice.

    Stated that no one would be refused the right to vote based on sex. This gave women the right to vote.

    This supreme court case ruled that segregation in schools was unconstitutional. This ended segregation in all schools.

    Civil Rights protest in which African Americans refused to ride buses in Alabama to object to the segregated seating spots. Rosa Parks was arrested for this, when she refused to give her seat up to a white passenger
