He was born the 31th October 1451 in the Republic of Genoa.
His father was Domenico Colombo, and his mother was Susanna Fontanarossa, and he has three brothers: Bartolomeo, Giovanni Pellegrino and Giacomo. -
In 1479 Christopher Colombus get married with Felipa Moniz. Felipa was born in 1455 in Portugal. Felipa's parents were Bartolomeo Perestrelo and Isabel Moniz. She died in 1484

In 1479 (we don't know the day) Chistopher Colombus had a child named Diego. Diego's mum was Filipa Moniz Perestrelo, Christopher's wife.
Diego would be 2nd Admiral of the Indies, 2nd Viceroy of the Indies and 3rd Governor of the Indies. -
The 29th August, 1487 Christopher Colombus had another child, Hernando. Hernando's mum was Beatriz Enriquez, and Hernando grow up in Córdoba.

Christopher Colombus did his first travel in 1492-1493. He was thinking that it was going to the Asian islands but he founds another continent, America. In October, 1492 Colombus came to America and in 1493 he returned to Spain.

Christopher did his second travel to America in 1493-1496. In September,1493 Colombus left Spain from the port of Cádiz. Three years later Colombus returned to Spain the 11th June, 1496

Christopher Colombus did his third travel to America in 1498-1500. The 30th May,1498 Christopher Colombus leaved Spain from the port of Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), it was two years there and the 25th November, 1500 returned to Spain
