    Before the bridges were changed they were rested on semi circles. A new and improved bridge that used a smaller arch was invented. These bridges were more broad and flatter than semi-circle bridges. This new bridge took less material and was stronger.

    Printing was started with woodblock printing. First, you would right on the paper then glue it onto the woodblock. Once dried the woodblock would have letters sticking up from the paper. Later on, a whole industry was opened.
