As emperor, the king took a new name. He called himself Shi Huangdi which is a name that means first emperor. He created a system of laws that would make equally to people in all parts of China. He also built the Great Wall of China. He changed the Chinese politics. Unlike the Zhou rulers he refused to share his power.Ruled in 221 BC
