A person, Confucius taught the importance of family, respect of elders, and the reverence for the past and one's ancestors. Confucius tried to end political disorder. He tried to encourage strong, positive behavior on the Chinese leaders. This all started in about 479BC.

The Shang Dynasty started because between 1750BC and 1500BC invaders called the Shang swept into Huang River Valley. The Shang introduced simple flood-control, this may be the reason why the Shang rule was strengthened. The actual Shang dynasty started in 1600BC. Some weapons that were popular during this time were bronze, such as spears or knives.
