    Xia Dynasty

    Xia Dynasty
    The first dynasty in Chinese history, and was the dynasty that ruled over late Neolithic people who lived in the Huang River region. It is described as the Bamboo Annals, this is mention in ancient historical Chinese Chronicles. This dynasty lasted for about 500 years including the reigns of the 17 emperors. It was mostly thought that the people of the Xia dynasty inhabited the western area of Henan Province and Southern Shanxi Province.

    Shang Dynasty

    Shang Dynasty
    A bronze civilization, and it's economy was based mainly on agriculture, crops included in this were millet and rice. The Shang rulers created a complex bureaucracy(a government organized into different levels and tasks. The Shang even had created a calendar based on the moon, which was mostly planned on recording private and public events, such as the birth of a child or the death of a ruler.

    Zhou Dynasty

    Zhou Dynasty
    The longest-lasting dynasty, and the dynasty fell when the Warring States period in 256 BCE. This happened when the army of the state Qin captured the city of Chengzhou and the last Zhou ruler, King Nan, was killed. Around 1046 BCE, King Wu, the leader of the Zhou, a subject people living in the west of the Chinese kingdom, overthrew the last king of the Shang dynasty.

    Daoism

    Daoism
    Laozi or Lao Tzu was thought to be the founder, and according to tradition, Laozi was a wise official at the Zhou court in Luoyang. Like Confucianism, it has deeply influenced Chinese culture. Daoism began as a complex system of philosophical thought. Laozi was a sage during the sixth century BCE.

Confucianism, also known as Ruism, is described as tradition, a philosophy, a religion, a humanistic or rationalistic religion, a way of governing, or simply a way of life.The Confucian classic Xiao Jing or Classic of Xiào, thought to be written around the Qin-Han period, has historically been the authoritative source on the Confucian.

    Legalism
    It was a philosophy of administration in ancient China, and Upon first acquaintance with this system it seems no more than a rationalization by political administrators for their having total political control of their societies. They originally kept a form of Legalism as their official philosophy but it was a much gentler version than that of the Qin. Legalism is a philosophy that emphasizes order over everything. ... The three main branches of Legalism are Fa, Shi, and Shu.
