A confederate general surrenders at Appomattox Courthouse. Causing major celebration around the Union. Making John W Booth very sad and infuriated. It was like seeing the other team jump and cheer and hold grand events to rub it in that they won. -
assination plans
Booth meets with Lewis Powell, David Harold, and Geogre Atzerdt to plan to murder the Secratary of State, Lincoln and the Vice President. Booth was assigned Lincoln, Lewis Powell the Secretary of State, George Atzerdot the vice president, and Harold to guide Powell out of the city. -
Theater
Lincolin arrives at the theater around 8:30. This is about half an hour after the play started. -
The President Is Dead
John Whilkes Booth shoots president Lincolin in his theater box next to his wife and two friends. 10:13PM -
Steward
Lewis Powell and David Harold arrive at the secetary of states house. Powell gets into the house and finds out what room the president is in. He then fights his way into the room and connects the knife to his throught and his jaw/chin -
Powells Partner
David Harold saw the chaos that had arisin inside the house and had become worried that Powell had been caught so he got on his horse and galloped away. Leaving Powell defenseliss when he came out and didn't know where to go and how to escape. -
Booth's Escape
Booth made it out of Fords theater and went to a bridge that lead outside of town. The man guarding the bridge with his soldiers (Cobb) was telling Booth the bridge had closed at 9:00 and it was now between 10:35-!0:45. Booth claimed not to know about this and Cobb decided to let him cross over the bridge. -
The bridge
Herold suprisingly got pass Cobb after they talked about why he was trying to cross and then crossed the bridge into Maryland. -
Mr.Vice President
George Atzerodt decided that he didn't want to go through with the assination plan on the vice president Jonson after he had some drinks in the lobby of Jonsons hotel. -
Dr. Mudd
Booth and Harold ride to a trusted person to Booth and ask for medical help from him since he is a doctor. He makes crutches and a 'brace' for Booth. He goes into town and finds out about the killing so he tells Booth and Harold to go to a General Cox. -
General Cox
Mudd sends Booth to Cox and Cox sent him to a place in the woods. Cox found Thomas Jones and he is going to help Booth and Harold cross the next river. -
Powell
Powell goes to Mary Surrats house and gets arrested by soldiers that were there to search her house. -
Lincoln's Funeral Day
The funeral for Lincoln takes place. Many people come to see him and his body is placed in a train to go to springfield. -
Atzerdot
Atzerdot get's arrested at his brothers house after he brought up the assignation in front of guests. -
The River
After hiding in the woods for 4 nights Booth crosses the river. They row the wrong way have to stay north for 2 nights. They finally make it to Virginia on April 23rd. -
Garrett's
Booth stays at the Garrett farm for a one night then they sleep in their tobacco barn. The Garrett's lock them in the barn because they think they will steal their horses and the manhunters find the farm and the tobacco barn. They surround the barn and late night on April 25th Booth is shot. -
Booth's Death
On the morning of April 26 John W Booth dies from a bullet to the neck. -
You have one day
Lewis Powell, David Harold, George Atzerdot, and Mary Surratt are prepared to be hung the next morning. -
Lincoln is avenged
In the afternoon at 1:26PM Lewis Powell, David Harold, George Atzerdot, and Mary Surratt are hung.
