Proclamation of 1763
This was a proclamation saying that the land that the colonists just fought for the can't have. This really made the colonists mad. The English did not want to send anymore troops into America. -
The sugar act
It was held to help pay for the french and indian war. It increased the price all imported items like coffee. The colonisits thought this was stupid because Bitan wanted the land aswell. -
Quartaring Act
Allowed troops to stay in peoples home. They had it rent free. You had to take care of them. -
Stamp Act
It taxed the colonists every day items. They did not like paying more for the items they use every day. Then they told the British "No taxatoin without represintation." -
Boston Massacre
One of thee soldiers got scared and fired at the crowd. Then all the other soldiers got statled and fired. It was a result of 5 deaths and 8 wounded. -
The Boston Tea Party.
Americans dumped tea into the Boston Harbor. They were disguised as mohalk Indians. After this they closed the harbor. -
Massechusets regulating act
Banned town hall meetings. They can only have meetings if the royal governor approves. No meetings were allowed. -
Impartial Administration of Justice act
Allowed colonies to move trials. They would not judge fairly. If someone was caught they could go straight to England. -
Boston port act
It closed all the ports in Boston. This really shut down the econmy. THis was till the price of tea was payed. -
Quebec Act
Granted religios freedom to people in Quebec.
