The Treaty of Paris was signed in Great Britain in 1763. The Treaty Of Paris signaled Britains victory, and ended war. As a result Britain was in Debt and started to tax colonist with out the consent of the Colonial Legislature. This angered the Colonists because they are used to Self Governent.

The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George III. This forbaded colonist to settle west of the Appalachian. The king did this in hope to placate the Natives that went against him during the French and Indian war. The colonist were angered by this.
