    The idea of this camera came from a inventor named Joseph Nicephore Niepce. Joseph than partnered up with a showman/inventor named Louis Daguerre. Joseph passed away on 5th of July on 1833. Louis Daguerre continued to invent the camera. He then released it to the public on 1839 inventor's festival. The image is taken on a piece of silver iodide. You place it in the camera and leave it for some time. You than place the silver iodide in a box with fumes of mercury. After time it creates an image.

    The first Panoramic camera is the Daguerreotype but only its two copper isotopes side by side to take a over view of cities and landscapes. Its possible to add an extra 3 to take large photos. A war photographer named George Barnard who used this camera during the civil war. Generals and Military engineers appreciated his photos of landscape and fortifications. George used something called "wet plates negative" instead of the copper ones. Wet plates took a photo while they were still wet.

    The Kodak was made by an inventor named George Eastman. George Eastman invented a camera that is easy to use and any one can use it. It had only three moving parts and was very easy to use.it has a string to load the shutter, A button to take the photo and a rotating key to reload it for the next photo. The camera took only a mouth to make and was successful in its day for how simple it is.

    The Kodak Brownie came in many different forms. There were the box version, the flip out version and later the 8mm motion picture camera. The Kodak brownie line started with the first one made of carbon and knockoff leather. The first kodak brownie became instantly popular as it was small and durable. The price as well was affordable for one dollar. As they became more and more popular they produced them in colours, better materials such as leather and aluminium and more storage space.

    The Polaroid camera is the first camera to take a photo and print on the spot. The inventor Edwin H. Land got the inspiration from her daughter when he took a photo and his daughter said "Why cant I see the photo now?". This triggered an idea in Edwins head and found out how to put positive and negative image inside a camera to create the image just after he took the photo. He released the camera on Black Friday 1948 and was a huge hit.

The Mavica came from a brand called Sony which wasent big then but was growing and this was one of their success in the early days of Sony.This type of camera used floppy disks and they were removable to fit with the first computers so you could upload the photos or videos. The Mavica was also an analogue even though it was electronic.

    The first disposable camera came from a Japanese brand called Fuji. Fuji got hook with the idea of cameras but wanted to sell them at a fast rate and make people come back. To do this they made a camera that has all the stranded things needed including a flash and sold them in a way that they could only take one photo due to their size. They started to make special ones that work under water and takes great under water photos.

    The Kodak professional DCS (Digital camera system) was the first of the DCS's. The DCS camera is a digital single lens camera that takes photos and videos. This camera also had a digital camera back so the photographer can see the photo their taking. The Kodak DCS took its design from filming cameras like the Nikon 35mm SLR,Cannons filming cameras and sigmas. This camera could also break into two pieces. One the actual camera and the other the digital screen to view the photo.

    The first camera phone was called "J-phone" by the Japanese brand Sharp.This phone could take photos and send photos at 110,000 pixel resolution's or 0.11 megabytes. The phone was great and other companies like Samsung got the hang of it. Other brands like LG, Nokia, HTC and more started making phones with camera one better than the other. The Americans saw the camera phone and though they could make a better one. They were wrong. They made a terrible, expensive bad copy of the J-phone.
