    Hinduism

    Hinduism
    Hinduism is a mixture of religions that doesn't have a specific system. No one founded it, it was made by the Hindus.
    The people that followed Hinduism believed in reincarnation, in which souls that died would be reborn in a higher or lower class based on their karma.
    The people's goal was to become free from desire and not bothered by suffering, when that happens, they reach Nirvana.

    Judaism

    Judaism
    Judaism was one of the first religions to be monotheistic which originated in Israel. Their god and the Hebrews made a promise to each other, Hebrews agreed to the 10 commandments, and God promised them security.
    This religion is so strong, in fact, when they were conquered, they refused to follow other religions and stuck to Judaism.
    The Torah was the text used in this religion.

    Islam
    The people who followed Islam were known as Muslims. Islam had the five pillars, which were a set of rules each Muslim had to follow.
    Muhammad was the prophet, and Allah was the god.
    Periodically, music would play and the people had to stop what they were doing, face Mecca and pray to Allah. Once finished, everyone continued as normal and did it again within a few hours.
    Their sacred text was the Qur'an.

    Confucianism
    Confucianism was a religion with no god beliefs based in China.
    The followers believed in loyalty and humanity.

    Buddhism

    Buddhism
    Siddhartha Gautama (aka the Buddha) founded Buddhism by meditating under a tree for 40 days and achieved enlightenment. It consisted of "Four Noble Truths", which altogether it meant that suffering does exist but there is a way to do away with it in your life. It originated in India but continued to spread throughout the world through the Silk Road.
    This differs from Hinduism, however. Buddhism does not have anything to do with the caste system.

    Christianity

    Christianity
    Christianity is a monotheistic religion based on Judaism, however there are key differences between the two. God still existed in Christianity, but Jesus existed during this time.
    The sacred text was the Bible. Paul and Peter spread the religion. The 10 commandments were unchanged.

    "Shinto" in Japanese means "The Sacred Way".
    Shintoism was a monotheistic religion, which was originated and popular in Japan.
    The kojiki was their sacred text.

    Sikhism was a monotheistic religion based in Punjab of Asia.
    The followers believed in truthful living, meditation, and that everyone was equal.
    Their god is without form or gender.
