  • Concord Battle

    Concord Battle
    The British troops wanted to find and destroy weapons. Although the Americans won and none of the weapons were destroyed. The American leader was Captain John Parker. The battle took place in Concord. Picture: The British troops and Massachusets militia fighting in Boston.
  • Lexington Battle

    Lexington Battle
    The Battle of Lexington was not a planned battle, the British were trying to pass through Lexington to get to Concord and capture and destroy American military supplies. The British won this Battle which was not supposed to be a battle at all, it only started because of an accidental shot. The British were much more prepared for battle and the Americans were outnumbered.

    Benedict Arnold (Americans) wanted to defeat the British, and try to draw more Canadians to the Patriot cause. Although, the British won the Battle.

    Siege of Boston
    The Siege of Boston is when the Americans trapped the British inside of Boston, this was fairly easiy because most of Boston is surronded by water. Obviously the Americans won, and forced the British to retreat. The American leader was General Henry Knox and the British leader was Gerneral William Howe. Picture: The British evacuating Boston.
