    Lexington and Concord were the first battles to start everything. The british wanted to capture John Hancock and Sam Adams. Paul Revere had warned everyone by riding through the streets and shouting, "The red coats are coming!". Around 49 colonists died. The British were sent to put more tyranny onto the colonists and eventually Patriots had had enough.
