University of Iowa vs the University of Chicago was the first ever basketball game played. The score ended 15 to 12 with Chicago winning. -
First professional Basketball Game
The very first Professional basketball game was November 7th, 1896. The game was Trenton VS Brooklyn, Brooklyn lost 15 to 1, and every player recieved $15 to play at this game. -

At first you were not aloud to dribble the ball, you had to pass it around and then shoot, then In 1910, you were able to atleast dribble the ball, 6 years late it was initiated that you can finally dribble, then shoot the all after. -

Basketball became an actualy sport now. Everyone was doing it around the world. Games were now being played out on a tennis court. The first championship game was played out in a storm, but 1,000 fans still attended to see the main event. -
