With the encouragement of my Vice Principal, I wrote my first grant. The proposal was awarded $150,000. The school purchased new computers and equipment for our students. -

Use of technology and grant writing efforts added to this honor, received in San Diego, California. -

Education First Grant
Receipt of this $50,000 grant first brought Accelerated Reader to my school. -

Technology Integration Specialist Grant
This competitive grant was awarded in the amount of $200,000 and provided the school with a Technology Integration Specialist and additional technology hardware. -

BCS Teacher Leadership Team
I was selected by the Superintendent of Boone County Schools to serve as a charter member of this team. For my service, I received a Smartboard, data projector, document camera and flip camera, for my classroom. -

Competitive grants for school improvement efforts. We RECIEVED two of these grants for a total of $250,000 which helped to greatly improve our school and technology integration. -
