South Australia was formed in NSW (New South Wales). SA included Kangaroo Island and other Islands.

North Australia formed in NSW and it's main settlement was Port Curtis. This settlement failed after 6 months and changed back to NSW

Victoria was settled by escaped convicts, whalers, and sealers, and to ward off the french, an official settlement was made in 1802

Queensland started wit a convict settlement at Moreton Bay, and Grazers, Miners, and farmers continued to colonise the coastal and inland area. Van Diemens' land was renamed Tasmania.

SA's western border was moved west, getting rid of the NSW panhandle.
