    It was won by the British. There was about 10,000 minutemen went to Boston just after the victory at Concord. They tried to siege the city but was not able to thanks to the British.

    George Washington made his first command as the cheif of the Army.

    It was won by the british. In the morning of July 5 10,000 troops led down by the british down lake Champlain to Fort Ticonderoga. On May 10, 1775 the British surrendered.

    The British won. They had 300 men led up to Quebec by General Montgomery. Then there was 1,100 men led up to Quebec by Beniedict Arnold from boston to get beat.

    Howe took over Philadelphia befor heading to Albany. It was after the battle of Brandywine. George Washington forced them to stay there during the winter of 1777.

    General Howe was out to capture Philadelphia when he 250,000 ships on the way with 17000 trops but his muddy George Washington took advantage by striking but was dafeated. The British won.

    On October 17 of 1777 The british surrendered after fighting for along time. This is a step forward to independence.

    After 16 months of debating the adoption of the Articales it was final. It took in York Pennsylvania.

    The army was 20 miles northwest of Phildelphia witch was controled by General Howe and the british. They were in there for 6 hard months.

    On this day the colonist signed a treaty where France would send over help and ammo. This helped the colonist gain more power over Great Britian.

    It was won by the Colonist. This was the last major (large) military engagement befor going south. The day was so hot that more than 10,000 died of heatstrokes an both sides.

    The British fleet Cheasepeake and when they say the French ships they did do attach when they had a good chance of taken them out right away. After 4 weeks Cornwallis surrendored on October 17. It was a French victory.

    Commander Cornwallis led his army to New York to get more supplies. When George Washington heard about it he head down to Virginia so Cornwallis could not get his suppies and reinforcement. George Washington led 17,000 down there.The French won a war aginst British squadron. So when they got there Cornwallis was surrounded.

    Cornwallis was sieged by thev American and French forces. He was just beat by the French in Chesapeake Bay. This is what ended the Revolutionary War.
