Negative Feelings About Jews
Historians have traced negative feelings towards the Jews during the time of the Roman Empire and the beginning of Christianity. -
16th Century
Jews were separated from their Christian neighbors by ghettos, by cities being enclosed by gatekeepers who were Christians or by high walls. -

During the 1700s through the 1800s the ghettos walls were coming down and a new idea was coming out which was known as race. During the 1800s race was referred to people who had the same nationality or were related in one way or another. In the late 1800s German Anthropological Society tried to see if there was a racial difference between the Aryan and Jewish children. Soon enough after studying 7 million children the two groups were much more similar than they were different. -

Race became the mixed up viewing that everyone in the world observed. -

Adolf Hitler and his Nazis killed about 1/3 of the Jews in the world whether they were young or old only because of their race and religion. During this time Hitler took control of Germany and then eventually took control over the Eastern and Western nations of Europe. Hitler also created laws that stripped Jews of citizenship and that Christians could not have any contact with the Jews due to being considered a crime. -
