    Gen.Gage of the British army sent troops to the town of Concord, looking for the colonial military supplies hidden there. Paul Revere alerted the minute men before the British arrived so a battle ensued. The British suffered heavy physical and mental casualties. The Minute Men were led by a captain and this was their first battle against the British, hence the name "the shot heard around the world."

    The capture of Fort Ticonderoga

    The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga occurred during the American Revolutionary War in 1775, when a small force of Green Mountain Boys led by Ethan Allen and Colonel Benedict Arnold overcame a small British garrison at the fort. Who were led by Wiliam Delaplace and looted the personal belongings of the British. Cannons and other arms were moved to Boston to better defend it.

    The American revolution was gainig tremendous traction and the British led an assault on Bunker Hill (Breeds Hill). The Minute men had cannons on the hill overlooking Boston which was a threat to the British. After a long and bloody battle the British took the hill and claimed victory. The Minute Men were led by Wiliam Prescott, and the British were led by Wiliam Howe.

    Trenton/Princeton (NJ Campaign)

    George Washington led the continetal army to two decisive victories over British forces. General Washington led his men across the deleware river and marched into Trenton capturing the Hessian mercenaries led by Johan Rall. Shortly after Trenton the Americans attacked the smaller British force in Princeton led by Charles Mawhood. They swiftly won the battle then retreated for the winter.

    John Burgone led the British forces against the Americans who were led by Horatio Gates. The Americans were attacked by a larger force but repelled the attackers. The following American counter attack crushed the remaining British forces and they retreated resulting in an American Victory.

    The Battle of King's Mountain only lasted 65 minutes and was a very fast victory for the patriots. The Patriot Milita led by James Johnson attacked the Loyalist who were led by Patrick Ferguson. The battle took place in a small county in South Carolina and was a very fast victory for the patriots.

    Siege of Charelston

    The Siege of Charleston was a major battle during the War. The British, following the collapse of their northern strategy and their withdrawal from Philadelphia, shifted their focus to the American Southern Colonies. After approximately six weeks of battle , Major General Benjamin Lincoln, commanding the Charleston garrison, surrendered his forces to the British commander Sir Henry Clinton , resulting in one of the worst American defeats of the war.

    A Joint assault on New York city by Fench and American forces result in the Americans taking the city and capturing a large British force. This battle is one of the final battles of the war and it proves to be deceive for America. The Americans are led by Washington, the French by Comte de Rochambeau and the British by Lord Cornwallis.
