    -Thomas Cage and General Howe were British commanders.
    -Dr. Joseph Warren, Israel Putnam, William Prescott were Ameican leaders.

    -On August 22 the Britsh arrived in Long Island they planned alot for this Battle.
    -George Washington was general for the colonies.
    -General Howe was the general for the British.
    -Howe transported fifteen thousand troops from the tip of Staten Island to Long Island.
    -The British were the victors of this battle.
    -The Americans suffered nearly one thousand casualties.
