  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre
    Their was a soldier guarding the customs house. Then, a drunk colonist came out of a tavern and started to exchange insults with the guard. The man pokes the soldier as the soldier hit the man with the butt of his musket. The man yelled and people started coming out from the taverns and houses. A couple more soldiers came out to help the lone soldier. They were being attacked with snowballs and rocks. Once the soldier was stuck by a club they fired. Some people and soldiers died.

    A man dressed up like an Indian, but he had a club and a tomahawk. He saw others dressed up like him as he and the other were walking to the boat. They went on the boat calmly and started throwing the boxes of tea overboard. The guy who ordered them to do this was Leonard Pitt.

    The Battle Lexington and Concord
    The British soldier heard about the resources the US Colonies had and rounded up to boats of British soldiers. When Revere heard he ran into town yelling “THE BRITISH ARE COMING, THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!” Everybody in town prepared for battle as the British came around the corner of a forest. The British prepared and tried to get them to give up. Then, a shot was heard from someone hiding behind a wall.

    On June 15,1775, Americans heard that the British were planning to take control Charleston Peninsula in between Charles and Mystic Rivers. The British general, gage wanted to deploy over 2000 soldiers who are under control of General Howe.

    Britain had twice the amount of force as The US colonies. The British's ship or boat landed on long island on August 22, 1776 and won against General Charles lee. Then, Washing road to long island and saw construction going on. But, it was also hard to make food for his men to survive the camp.

    The war was in Trenton, New jersey on December 26, 1776. 5000 US soldiers left their base to take over Trenton with George W. The British had lost this war because of the information on This website but also because it said they did and also because they have captured, injured, and killed the British soldiers.
  • Saratoga

    Saratoga
    The battle of Saratoga, did not go right for the British. The southern half of the british army did not go through with the plan. The Americans were able to win the battle of Saratoga because of the other half of the british's army that was off attacking someone else. After, the Americans won the war the French believed that they could win the war and gave the Americans food, Uniforms, guns, and ammunition. They also had General Friedrich Von Steuben join the camp and train the soldiers.

    At 6am in the morning Cornwallis rides to Brunswick to deploy and defend the town. The British are taking shelter in a building and the US brought cannons and fired at the building twice to clear out the building from British.

    Henry Clinton was forced to move south. Campbell took over the city but lost 7 men and 17 men were injured during the attack. Howe’s army had over 400 captured, 83 killed and more than 10 soldiers were injured or wounded. They had taken over the Savanna until the war had ended.

    Henry Clinton turned and went on to the south. Great Britain took complete control of Georgia. Siege works went on 800 yards from the fortifications on April 2nd. The final terms were that the captured prisoners were prisoners of war.

    For the battle of King's Mountain The British captured 2837. But, Seven colonies picked Campbell to be their officer of the day. When the patriots attacked they won the war. Prisoners were beaten and killed with sharp swords.

    The Battle of Yorktown
    On October 9,1781, The war or battle included Great Britain and the US Colonies in Yorktown, Virginia. But, 309 British soldiers were killed and 79 US Soldiers were killed. But, 8009 British soldiers were captured by the US army. The French agreed attack Lord Cornwallis and his army of 8000.
