    British soldiers, under leadership of General Gage, were looking to aeize weapons at a farm in Concord. They were successfully thwarted by militia outside of Lexington and attacked during their retreat to Boston

    Fort Ticonderoga

    Benedict Arnold of Massachusetts joined Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys of Vermont attacked Fort Ticonderoga so they could capture is and have it as a vantage point. This was the first American victory of the Revolutionary War. They seized many huge cannons.

    Bunker (Breed's) Hill

    The British were planning to send troops from Boston to occupy the hills surrounding the city, some 1,000 colonial militiamen under Colonel William Prescott. The Americans retreated but the British suffered lots of fatalities.
