    Opening of the war. Colonel Smith, Major Pitcairn and Lord Percy commanded the British Troops. Paul Revere and William Dawes rode to warn the villages on the route to Concord and the Congress. Militia were commanded by Barrett, Buttrick, Robinson and many others. The Britished suffered many casualties and the Americans considered it a win and a good start to the war.

    Major General John Burgoyne commanded the British and Major General Arthur St Clair commanded the American troops. The Americans abandoned the Fort Leading to a British victory.

    Commanders at the Siege of Charleston: Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton with Major General Lord Cornwallis as his deputy commanded the British army. The British were able to capture the city of Charleston SC.

This battle was almost between all Americans, loyalist against revolutionists. The revolutionists came out with the victory.

    General Washington commanded the American army. Lieutenant-General de Rochambeau commanded the French troops. Major-General Lord Cornwallis commanded the British and German troops. George Washington came out with a big victory over the British, ultimately ending the war.
