    British soldiers, under the leadership of General Gage, were looking to seize weapons from a farm in Concord. They were successfully thwarted by militia outside of Lexington and attacked during their retreat to Boston.

    The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga, occurred during the American Revolutionary War on May 10, 1775. Green Mountain Boys over came a British fort and ransacked the fort. Items and weapons were taken and used to protect.

    This was the Americans worst defeat of the Revolution. The British captured 3,000 patriots and a lot of munitions and equipment, losing only 250 people. They attacked Virginia and South Carolina forcing them to surrender at Yorktown. They were embarrassed for having to surrender.
