    Lexington and Concord

    British Soldiers under the leadership of General Gage were looking to seize weapons from a farm in Concord. They were successfully thwarted by militia outside of Lexington and attacked during their retreat to Boston

    Fort Ticonderoga

    The capture of Fort Ticonderoga happened when a small force of Green Mountain Boys led by Eathan Allen and Colonel Benedict Arnold overcame a British garrison at the fort and looted the resources they were holding at the Fort. They took the cannons and used them later in the revolution.

    Bunker Hill

    The battle of Bunker Hill was a battle between the British Army and the Minutemen. The British army was trying to secure the Mintuemen's cannons located on Bunker Hill. Minutemen won the battle only loosing 400 men while the British los 1,000.

    Trenton / Princeton

    The battles consisted of Washington's army and the Hessian mercinaries. Washington's army crossed the Delaware to Trenton and took it from the British. A week later Washington also took control over Princetonm, a big win for the revolution because they now have control of New Jersey.

    Saratoga

    Battle of Saratoga is considered the climax of the revolution and it is between the Americans and British. The Americans deafeat the British. The Americans came from Canada and surrounded the British, because their reinforcements did not arrive, causing them to fall.

    Siege of Charleston

    The British and American forces brawl for the territory of Charleston. The Brisish come out on top capturing over 3,000 patriots under the command of General Benjamin Lincoln. The British only suffered 250 casualties.

    King's Mountain

    This battle took place in North Carolina, where the patriots defeat the loyalist militia and their commander Patrick Ferguson. The British had control of North Carolina and then the patriots raided the British. The British began to retreat but were stopped right at the border in King's Mountain.

    Yorktown

    George Washington, with the combined forces of the French, obtain another victory over the British at Yorktown. The patriots were slowly taking down the defense of the British allowing their artiliry to move forward. The British had no choice but to give in causing the Treaty of Paris to be signed.
