    700 men were set out to Lexington and Concord to destroy the supplies that were there. Americans were smart enough to store most of their things before the British could arrive. American forces were strong enough to inflict 14 casualties on the British which caused them to march back home and loosing nearly 300 men while americans only lost 95.
